In the year of 2015 Yarl was created on 4Chans board /R9K aka Robot9000. A anonymous user created Yarl to replace Pepe the frog and ever since the cult of anonymous yarlers live by the prophecy; Replace Pepe.

In the year of 2015 a anonymous user on 4chans board /r9k created a new meme with the goal to replace pepe. He wrote"Pepe is dead, I'm replacing him with Yarl". Pepe grew in popularity while Yarl stayed in the shadows. A group of people on 4Chan rallied around the mission to replace pepe and thus the "Cult of anonymous yarlers" was born.
Since Yarls birth he have been evolved trough Cryptonites work to become more memeable. Initially he had his eyes closed and a small mouth, but now his eyes are open and he have a mouth that makes him more alive. Yarl live and have settled in his own country, The republic of Yarlistan.

The Word Meme orgininates from the ancient Word "Meme" which mean "Imitated" and was widley used in the time of ancient Greece time of greatness.The concept of the meme originates with Richard Dawkins, who coined the term in The Selfish Gene (1976) to describe cultural units, ideas, symbols, or practices that spread through imitation much like genes spread biologically.
